Bringing 20 years of expertise to his role, Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq in August 2019. Ahmed has since played an important role in achieving the company's vision and goals, aimed at solidifying its position as a fully integrated sustainable city, containing both residential and commercial projects offering an unmatched waterfront lifestyle.

Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi’s experience and extensive knowledge in strategic evaluation of the real estate market, as well as his regional and international experience in the financial real estate sector has enabled him to establish a unique strategic vision for Diyar Al Muharraq.

Initially joining Diyar Al Muharraq in 2016 as Head of Investments & Asset Management for around 4 years, Alammadi liaised with the executive management teams, and the board of directors to formulate financial strategies, develop new innovative investment ideas, as well as manage the retail companies in both Diyar Al Muharraq and Dragon City Bahrain.

Prior to taking on the real estate industry, he spent a decade working in the financial services sector across the GCC region, gaining experience in investor relations, investment advisory, sales management, investment banking and private equity. His tenure at Al Rajhi Capital included heading key investment centers and managing the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia; where he consulted on strategic direction to increase market penetration in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi has also previously held leadership positions at Arcapita Bank, and Qatar First Bank respectively contributing to his expertise in leveraging HNWI client relationships to maximize fruitful investment opportunities in the GCC region mutually, ultimately increasing market penetration.

Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi holds a BSc in Engineering from King Abdulaziz University and a Master’s Degree from Universidad de Granada in Spain.

Subhas Chandra , FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India  has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development, capital structuring, syndication financing, treasury management, joint ventures, , financial models, debt structuring, strategic planning and corporate governance.

Subhas Chandra is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Diyar Al Muharraq. In his role as strategic executive position,  responsible for overseeing all investments including managing real estate holdings, managing finance and accounting functions including regulatory compliance, and directing and mentoring   team members for  higher productivity in achieving the corporate goals.

Prior to his role at Diyar Al Muharraq, Mr. Chandra worked at: Al Retaj Holding Company, Majid Al Futtaim Group, A Swedish and Swiss multinational Company - Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), GREDCO (GBCORP subsidiary), TAIB Bank and the multinational French company, Lafarge. 

Mohammed AlMannai has 30 years of experience dating back to 1990 where he held the position of Head of Facilities Operation and Maintenance Department at the BDF Isa Air Base, followed by Department Manager of the Governance Buildings Maintenance Department at the Ministry of Works in 2003. In 2007 he took on the role of Technical Manager at Diyar Al Muharraq and was later appointed to Senior Manager Development and Project Management in 2016.

Since 2020, Mohammed AlMannai has assumed the role of Head of Development and Project Management at Diyar Al Muharraq where he is responsible for leading his team to ensure outstanding performance and exceptional results. In line with achieving the objectives of the masterplan, Mr. AlMannai also manages the development of Diyar Al Muharraq’s reclamation, infrastructure and urban environment. He is adept in resolving disputes in collaboration with the legal department, managing certified contractors and consultants, and working to secure tenders and requests for proposals in a professional, quick and efficient manner.

Mohammed AlMannai has a Bachelor’s in Science in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Economics from the University of Miami in Florida, USA. He has also attended numerous training courses delivered by coveted institutes and organizations.

Hussain Malallah first joined Diyar Al Muharraq back in 2016 as a Corporate Communications Manager, working his way up to assume the role of Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Marketing. Currently, he serves Diyar Al Muharraq as the Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing, overseeing key corporate communications deliverables, including developing effective marketing strategies and strengthening public relations efforts with key stakeholders. 

Hussain has over 20 years of marketing, public relations, and brand building experience across both the real estate and telecommunications sectors. He effectively secured leading Public Relations and Marketing positions across various departments at acclaimed Bahrain-based organizations, in the likes of High Consumer Segment Head at Batelco, Public Relations & Marketing Manager at Albilad Real Estate Company. He also worked at the Business Development division of Al Khaleej Development Company. Hussain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with distinction from The New York Institute of Technology.

After joining Diyar Al Muharraq in 2008 as a Human Resources Manager, Juhaina Al Rumaihi later assumed the role of Senior Manager of Human Resources, leading to her current position as Head of Human Resources and Administration.

Juhaina has over 18 years of experience in HR, Administration, Purchasing and Information Technology. She is currently responsible for implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices including but not limited to HR compliance and human capital management. She leads several cross-functional teams to fulfill the Company’s goals and also appoints qualified talent to meet the needs of the various departments. She also oversees the coordination of office training in addition to implementing a career development and succession plan across the organization.

Juhaina Al Rumaihi has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.

Layth Al Fayez joined Diyar Al Muharraq as General Counsel in 2016. He leads the Legal Department which provides legal and regulatory compliance guidance to the business and is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal functions. 

He also serves as secretary to the Board of Directors and is a member of the company’s executive management team.

Layth joined the company from Premier Group, a Private Family Office, where he served as Legal Counsel from 2008 to 2016. Prior to joining Premier Group, he held the position of Assistant Manager in the Corporate Advisory Services Department at Keypoint Consulting. Layth started his career as a Consultant with Ernst and Young – Bahrain in 2004.

As the first legal hire, Layth was responsible for establishing the company’s Legal Department.

Layth received his Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Jordan.

As Head of Sales at Diyar Al Muharraq, Mohammed Al Mahmood is responsible for managing the Sales Department, overseeing all sales transactions of Diyar’s products, and identifying various investment opportunities within Diyar. Mr. Al Mahmood is also in charge of managing the Sales Center and Diyar Al Muharraq’s stands and booths during exhibitions, roadshows, mall activations, and other events and designing new products in accordance with market demands.

Mohamed Al Mahmood has held several positions over the course of his 15 years of extensive experience in the real estate and development sector, including Finance and Administration manager, sales manager, and secretary to the board at Diyar Homes. He also worked as a Project Manager at Genesis Investment Company and a Regional Manager at Allied Middle East Industrial Services. 

Mohammed Al Mahmood holds a Bachelor’s and Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, USA.

Since joining Diyar Al Muharraq in 2019 as Senior Investment Manager, Mohammed Al Qooz has been instrumental in achieving Diyar’s strategic objectives. His role entails identifying and creating new opportunities for Diyar Al Muharraq in addition to conducting thorough due diligence on all new investments including best-use analysis, feasibility and market studies, and asset evaluations. Moreover, Mohamed is responsible for Managing Diyar’s existing portfolio ensuring maximization of asset values to the company.

Mohammed AlQooz brings in excess of 15 years of international and local experience covering Investment, Asset Management and Real Estate. Prior to joining Diyar, Mohamed worked as a Senior Manager of Investment and Real Estate in Ibdar capital  managing the International real Estate portfolio. His experience in the field started in 2008 when he joined Capivest Investment Bank and worked his way up to become the Investment and Real estate department’s Senior Manager.

Mohammed AlQooz has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the American University of Sharjah. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder from the CFA Institute and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from the CAIA ASSOCIATION.

Seema Al Thawadi has over 20 years of experience, developed through an extensive career in Facility and Project management in the real estate sector. She joined Diyar Al Muharraq in 2013 as the manager of the Technical Interface Office, and as a result of her professional development and notable achievements she was prompted to a Senior Manager in 2018, leading to her current position as Head of the Technical Interface Office since 2020.

Through her current position in Diyar Al Muharraq, Seema guides professional and qualified teams to protect the company’s operational framework in Facility Management and Security, as well as managing the Technical requirements of Third Party developers, their Engineering Consultants and Contractors to obtain their final building approvals. In addition to supervising developers to ensure they adhere to Heath and Safety Regulations and Guidelines on Construction sites.

Seema monitors and develops Design Regulations, Guidelines, environmental systems, and structures to ensure buildings are within the Building Regulations and Architectural theme of the project. Ms. Al Thawadi is also responsible for issuing no-objection and completion of work certificates for Engineering Consultants to receive the necessary approvals from official entities.  

Seema is leading the Government Relations Team in Diyar AL Muharraq who facilitates communication and coordination between Engineering Consultants, Third Party Developers and Contractors with relative Government Authorities.

She is also responsible for monitoring land, sea Security & Facility operations of Diyar Al Muharraq’s Assets and infrastructure to ensure high standards and Safety of all site users   and visitors.

Since 2004, Seema Al Thawadi held several prominent positions for 9 years in the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs & Agriculture from Senior Civil Engineer, Executive Director of Customer Services, and the Director of the Municipal One Stop Shop.

Seema holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and Interior Design from University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada. She has also received several professional certifications from a number of training institutes, such as NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Al Mashreq Training in Bahrain, and Facility Manager Certificate from  Middle East Facility Management Association in Dubai.

Since 2010, Ahmed Al Najdi has played an integral role within Diyar Al Muharraq, holding several positions within the company prior to his current role, which included Manager – Government Relations Coordination and Technical Interface Office (TIO) Manager. 

Before joining Diyar Al Muharraq, Ahmed worked at the Bahrain Defense Force Royal Medical Services as a Maintenance Engineer, Duty Head of Planning & Facilities Service between 1992 – 2000 and appointed as Head of Planning & Facilities Services between 2000 – 2008, in addition to serving as QMR (Quality Management Representative) from 1998 – 2001 and as an Internal and External Auditor from 1998 to 2008.

Ahmed Al Najdi holds an MBA from the University of Glamorgan Prifysgol Morgannwg, Wales (UK) and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northrop University, Los Angeles (USA). He has also received several professional certifications from a number of training institutes.

Ameen Murad joined Diyar Al Muharraq in 2016 and currently holds the position of Senior Manager in the Investments & Asset Management department of Al Naseem project. His responsibilities include conducting market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the real estate market. He also monitors and reports on the performance of existing real estate investments and operating assets including assessments against KPIs. Additionally, he is responsible for negotiating and drafting purchase and sales agreements for investment properties and liaison of interested parties.

Ameen Murad has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University College of Bahrain. He has also achieved several professional certifications from a number of training institutes.

Eng. Fajer Al Hashimi is currently the Senior Development Manager of Projects & Development at Diyar Al Muharraq. Since joining in 2020, Fajer has been responsible for managing the company's major projects across all phases, as well as monitoring and supervising the progress of works ensuring that the project’s components are completed successfully in accordance with the set schedules and budgets.

Her previous roles include Project Architect/Manager at Al Khaleej Development Company – Tameer, and Senior Architect/ Project Manager at the Ministry of Works. In 2015, she was Chief of Projects Design at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs. 

She boasts over 19 years of experience, working on major projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, such as: Al-Areen Master Planning, Durrat Marina, Tala Island in Amwaj, various project designs within Diyar Al Muharraq's Master Plan, as well as headquarters for various sports clubs and Development of Shaikh Khalifa Sports City and Shaikh Isa Sports City.

Fajer Al Hashimi has a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering from the University of Bahrain. She has also received several professional certifications from a number of training institutes.

Khalid Fakhroo is a professional with over 10 years of real estate development experience and a distinguished project management expert. As a result of his commitment and passion, Khalid Fakhroo was able to advance in several positions at Diyar Al Muharraq, including Civil Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and his current position as Senior Manager of Infrastructure Projects.

As Senior Manager of Infrastructure Projects at Diyar Al Muharraq, Khalid Fakhroo utilizes his skills in risk management, leadership, strategic thinking, and project management in leading the planning and delivery of all infrastructure projects and meeting the development targets of Diyar Al Muharraq. This includes scoping, design, and construction of projects in line with time, cost, and quality parameters. He also represents Diyar Al Muharraq in meetings with the relevant authorities and stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships with them across relevant disciplines.

Khalid Fakhroo holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Economics and Management from the University College London, United Kingdom. He also completed his postgraduate studies in Quantity Surveying at Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. Additionally, he has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with Honors from Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom. 

Finance and investment management professional and strategist Muhammed Haroon has over 25 years of diversified experience in the manufacturing and real estate sectors. Underpinned by his strong business acumen and management skills, he is well-versed in strategic planning, improving corporate performance, project financing, debt restructuring, and team training and mentoring.

Muhammad Haroon joined Diyar Al Muharraq in 2007 and is responsible for financial reporting, financial planning, budgeting, project feasibility studies, and overall departmental functions. He is also entrusted with risk management and oversees the company’s compliance functions. His responsibilities also include enhancing the Company’s corporate governance structure and internal control environment, ensuring a foundation of trust with key stakeholders.

Prior to joining Diyar Al Muharraq, he worked as a General Manager for five years in the textile industry in Bahrain and as a Chief Financial Officer for four years in one of the biggest sugar-manufacturing publicly-listed companies in Pakistan. He also worked as an Audit and Assurance Manager for two years at a Chartered Accountants firm in Pakistan. 

Muhammad Haroon is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and holds a bachelor’s degree in Double Mathematics and Statistics from Punjab University in Pakistan. 

Samya Al Kindi has over 13 years of experience in the marketing industry. She joined Diyar Al Muharraq in 2020 as a Corporate Communications Manager. Within 3 years, Samya was promoted to Senior Corporate Communications Manager. She develops marketing strategies designed to achieve corporate growth while ensuring the development and implementation of the management’s policies and procedures. Moreover, she is responsible for monitoring and improving the company’s official online and offline communication channels and providing the necessary support and creative input on all projects. 

Prior to joining Diyar Al Muharraq, Samya Al Kindi was the Marketing Manager at Zayani Motors in 2014. She also held the position of Marketing and Product Development Manager at Primedia International in 2012. In 2011, she was a Marketing Coordinator at Knight Frank, a company specializing in real estate evaluation and consultation services. In 2010, she held the Commercial & Marketing Coordinator position at Lona Real Estate Development.

Samya Al Kindi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Webster located in Florida, United States of America. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. She has received a CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and an Associate Certificate in Arts from the Seminole State College of Florida.

Joining Diyar Al Muharraq as an Asset Manager in 2015, Shatha Al Jalahma was responsible for monitoring and managing various projects including: Dragon City, Al Noor and Al Shrooq Plazas, and Hadiqat Al Diyar. She currently holds the position of Senior Manager of Asset Management and Customer Service where she is in charge of managing all commercial centers in Diyar Al Muharraq, as well as customer service and quality assurance for tenants.

In 2012, Shatha Al Jalahma was the Senior Manager of the Bahraini Women Development Center “Riyadat,” a subsidiary of Bahrain Development Bank, and a manager at the Bahrain Property Development Association in 2010. She has also held several positions in 2003 at the Court of the Crown Prince, following her role at Bahrain Bayan School in 2001.

Shatha Al Jalahma holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the New York Institute of Technology in the United States of America and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Sociology from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon.
