Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has reported significant growth in Souq Al Baraha with the opening of several leading stores, including Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Atyab Al Marshoud, Al Jamaheer Tailoring, Al Khulood Sweets, Murooj Al Muharraq Sweets, La Brioche Bakery, Lugaimat Altaybeen, and many more.
Hawa Bahrain, the first and largest indoor inflatable park with a number of games for all ages has opened in Souq Al Baraha. Future projects in the retail development will also include Maraq, a restaurant serving delicious Bahraini and international dishes.
Commenting on the occasion, Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, said: “We are committed to enriching the brand portfolio of Souq Al Baraha while preserving its traditional concept as a key attraction for visitors residing outside of Bahrain. The development has also witnessed a surge in occupancy rate from 59.6% in June 2023 to 74.8% in June 2024. The number of visitors has also increased in the first half of the year to 1.7 million, solidifying our ongoing efforts towards developing Souq Al Baraha as the ideal cultural destination.”
He added: “We strive to deliver the best and unique offerings to our visitors, by hosting annual celebrations with prominent media figures and celebrities, in addition to organizing a diverse array of activities during Ramadhan. We also offer suitable locations across Souq Al Baraha for live TV programs, further enhancing the experience of citizens, residents, and tourists from all age groups.”
