Diyar Al Muharraq Concludes Fourth Edition of “Tumouh” and Announces the Winner

Diyar Al Muharraq, Bahrain’s largest real estate developer, has concluded the fourth edition of its training program, ‘Tumouh’. The annual initiative is hosted by the Human Resources department as part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility. After evaluating the final presentations, the trainee Mariam Al Mahal was announced as the first-place prize winner where she focused on elevating the city’s projects and developing sustainable solutions.

The fourth edition of the program hosted 4 graduates: Mariam Al Mahal, Noora Al Doseri, Reema Kamashki, and Zain Taqi, with the aim of equipping them with practical expertise under the guidance of various professionals within the company. Throughout the training process – which took place from June to November 2024 – the participants each gained professional skills and vocational learning experiences. They were also introduced to the company’s values and culture, as well as its masterplan and current and future projects.

During the final ceremony – held in November at Al Naseem Social Hub – the participants each showcased their final presentations and were evaluated by a panel of 6 judges comprising of Dr. Sh. Haifa bint Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, Dr. May Khalfan, Dr. Noora Al Doy, Eng. Khallid Ali Al Hashimi, Eng. Haider Al Nuaimi, and Eng. Timothy O’Donnell. The panel also included representatives from Diyar Al Muharraq, led by Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, alongside department heads, senior managers and members of the Human Resources department.

Commenting on the occasion, Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, expressing: “We were pleased to welcome a group of promising Bahraini talents to the fourth edition of ‘Tumouh’. Through the program, we aimed to hone their practical skills and provide them with professional expertise, while utilizing their experiences in the planning and implementation of new development projects that will further enrich our city. We hope that this support will help in paving the way for their journey as future leaders in the engineering sector. We extend our congratulations to Maryam Al Mahal for her well-deserved win, underscoring our belief in her groundbreaking ideas. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in the program and the judges for their key insights, which contributed to selecting this year’s winner.”

The 'Tumouh' program provides vocational training to Bahraini graduates holding Bachelor's degrees in civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, real estate development, and quantity surveying. The participants are selected according to predefined acceptance criteria, with opportunities to develop projects within Diyar Al Muharraq, which aim to strengthen their skills, elevate their abilities, and positively impact their future careers.
