Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the conclusion of the third edition of its training program, ‘Tumouh’, with team members Engineer Lulwa Buhazaa and Engineer Zain Alsada showcasing their final projects. The trainees developed a plan for the construction of a waterfront residential building in, in addition to a plan for a waterfront villa located in Al Wasem.
The ‘Tumouh’ finalists presented their projects at the Address Beach Resort Bahrain in Diyar Al Muharraq in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, and a panel of judges comprising of Prof. Jean Pierre El Asmar, Academic Vice President of the Royal University for Women, and Eng. Faeq Al Mandeel, member of the Society of Engineers on behalf of the Society President, in addition to a number of representatives from Diyar Al Muharraq.
The third edition of ‘Tumouh’ was launched in July 2023 and concluded in December, during which 4 engineering graduates obtained work opportunities in Diyar Al Muharraq’s engineering and real estate development departments. The interns were overseen by a group of professionals from across the company, who were also tasked with introducing them to Diyar Al Muharraq’s core values and organizational culture, giving them a deeper insight into the company's vision, master plan, and current and future projects.
Commenting on the occasion, Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, said: “We would like to congratulate Engineers Lulwa Buhazaa and Zain Alsada for completing the third edition of ‘Tumouh’, and for their resilient efforts in preparing their proposed projects and successfully reaching the final round. We were pleased to welcome a suite of promising young Bahrainis throughout our training program, which aimed to cultivate their practical skills and enhance their experiences in engineering and real estate development by taking part in the planning and completion of projects within Diyar Al Muharraq. This comes as part of our support for young talents and our efforts to pave the way for their success in the job market, as we seek to establish the next generation of leaders in the engineering industry.”
The annual 'Tumouh' program provides vocational training to Bahraini graduates holding Bachelor's degrees in civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, and real estate development. The participants are selected according to predefined acceptance criteria, with opportunities to develop projects within Diyar Al Muharraq, which aim to strengthen their skills, elevate their abilities, and positively impact their future careers.
