Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the largest real estate developers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for the third year running, committed its support as a Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming ‘Bahrain Smart Cities’ Summit 2019 which will be held for two days on the 15th and 16th of September 2019 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Manama.
‘Bahrain Smart Cities Summit’ is being organized by Smartway Consulting with the support of academic government entities, the private sector and other professional, industry-related societies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Currently in its fourth edition, the summit will also feature a complementary exhibition to showcase smart city solutions and systems, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest global technology in Construction, Fintech, Waste Management, Green Buildings and Sustainable Energy.
Diyar Al Muharraq Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Ahmed Alammadi will be a keynote speaker at the opening ceremony discussing the company’s vision and sustainability tools that have been deployed on the masterplan development to achieve the highest sustainability standards and share the recent projects and the sustainability measures applied.
Diyar Al Muharraq will also be participating as exhibitors, displaying its projects and showcasing the recent developments at booth number (1).

Diyar Al Muharraq has greatly contributed to the growth of the national economy, and has been developed with a primary focus – to enhance the community feel and create an environment of harmonious living. Diyar Al Muharraq designed the masterplan with the main factor being to reserve energy consumption and control carbon emission. It has imbedded sustainability in its masterplan through three main elements being Social, Economy and Environment. The masterplan was designed to maximize quality of life, allowing residents to feel a sense of belonging. It was designed to provide more than just residential offerings, including hotels, malls, commercial villas, warehousing and showroom plots which are all strategically positioned around the city to flourish the business and diversify the economy.
Additionally, Diyar Al Muharraq has invested in innovative research projects that support environmental conservation and have limited its operations by contracting third parties that have a proven environmental protection and recycling capability initiatives.
