Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the latest update on the infrastructural work carried out throughout the development.
Striving to complete all the infrastructure work with high quality and in a timely manner, Diyar Al Muharraq recently completed three major roads within its development which will increase accessibility for visitors and residents alike. The Company has spent BD 27 million to build an integrated multi-lane highway network within the project that is approximately 17 km long in total. Furthermore, by the end of 2019, Diyar Al Muharraq will start building a bridge that will link the southern and northern islands of its development.
Along with the developments integrated and advanced telephony and data services, Diyar Al Muharraq has laid 10 km of its overall fibre network which will provide faster connection to its residents. This is being done in conjunction with Batelco. On the sewerage aspect, the developer is on course to completing the deep gravity sewer with a value of about BD 18 million by the end of January 2019. The deep gravity sewer will be capable of serving 60,000 residents in the southern side of Diyar Al Muharraq.

It also reflects our endeavor in providing Diyar Al Muharraq’s residents with the best infrastructure services, including telecommunications, roads, electricity & water, and sewerage networks. All these remarkable achievements contribute to the manifestation of our integrated vision for Diyar Al Muharraq day by day.”

Diyar Al Muharraq has completed building and energizing 8 primary substations distributed throughout the development, and it is now serving the projects located on the southern side of the city. The primary power network’s cost has reached BD 50 million to date. Furthermore, the company is preparing to build the first primary substation in the northern island of Diyar Al Muharraq.
