Diyar Al Muharraq announced the participation of a group of its accredited experts in a series of panel discussions during the seventh edition of the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit at the Gulf Convention Centre. Eng. Mohamed Al Mahmood, Head of Sales, provided his expertise at the “Bahrain’s Smart City Vision” Panel, Eng. Fatima Darwish, Senior Manager of Construction Projects, engaged in the “Smart Infrastructure and Building Technologies” panel, and Eng. Abdulla Helal, Project Manager of Infrastructure Projects, took part in the “National Plan for Afforestation” panel.

The seventh edition of the summit included a number of worksheets and sessions discussing topics related to smart cities, including Bahrain and regional visions, emerging technologies, national afforestation plans, the role of Artificial Intelligence, development of smart city infrastructure, smart waste management, the role of startups in implementing smart energy solutions, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations in smart cities, future trends in the field, and more.
